Parker turned 3 on March 9th. Where has the time gone? Parker you are such a joy to have in our family. We love you so much. You have such a spunky personality yet you are such a sweet brother and son. Parker loves to play baseball, "mommy and daddy", in the dirt, anything outside, loves singing and playing his guitar. He will perform for us it is too cute! Of course he loves playing with his cousins. He think the world will end if they are out of town for a day! He loves to wrestle with his Dad and older cousins. I stare at him and his cute freckles by his nose and think to myself how did I make such a cute kid! I love you to pieces Parker.

Parker loves bug and so we decided to have a fun BUG Birthday with his cousin Brooke there Birthday is a 2 weeks apart!

Ella turned 1 on February 25th. It came so fast! She is such a doll. We enjoy her so much. She is saying "Mom" and "Dadda" all the time. She says the "P" sound for Parker and still says "All done" and barks for a dog. She will repeat alot and sings "clean up" but uses "een uh"! She loves to snuggle with her babies and loves blankets. She will ask for a "baba" when she is hungry or tired. She loves to smile and do everything her big brother does! We love you so much Ella!

Christmas Day:
This Christmas was great and I was not huge and pregnant with Ella so it was quite enjoyable for me! Ella was only 10 months but she absolutely enjoyed it. Parker could hardly wait for the day. He has been asking for a big boy bike for months. I thought he would change his mind and want something else but he stuck with it. I kept thinking he is too young not even 3 to have a bike with training wheels right? Anyways it was what he wanted so Santa agreed and he got his bike.

Parker's Spot-When Parker woke up he said, "My bike!" It was great! He practiced all day. There was a lot of screaming and him telling me he wanted a small bike. I explained this is what he asked Santa for. He was mad but kept trying and he was finally able to ride it by himself (w/training wheels)! It was a great day.

Ella's Spot- Ella just loved all her toys especially her moving barking dog and babies. That girl loves to cuddle. She played with her other toys too but loves her baby!

We had a great Halloween. Parker dressed up like as a Dinosaur and was roaring at everyone. Ella and I dressed up as witches. We went trick or treating down our street then went to Daily Estates where Parker found his cousins the Hallers and we joined them and went trick or treating around Daily Estates. We all had a great time and Parker got plenty of Candy!

A Day at the Zoo

We Went to the Tuscon Zoo for the first time and loooooooooved it! I have been to the Phoenix Zoo a few times but I don't think it compares to the Tucson zoo! It was Parker's first time to any zoo and he loved it! Despite the fact that the zoo was closed the day we got there because they were doing a fund raiser( they gave us free passes for the next day so we ended up staying a night) It was a wonderful trip! Can't wait to do it again.

Every October Trae gets Friday the 10th off for the Fair! I am not a huge fan of the fair I would rather go to a zoo or an amusement park. Anyway you do it for the kids. Parker had a fun time riding the rides with his Daddy. Ella liked just looking at everything!

Cozzmo

1996-2009

It was a sad day for us on October 28, 2009. Cozzmo has been with us since 1996 and he is seriously the best Dog ever. He got real sick for a few days and would not get up. He would not drink or eat. He would lift his head up and open his eyes to look at me but that was it. I wanted him to go in his sleep but his is a trooper and did not go in his sleep. I cried on what to do. I did not what him to be in pain or suffer. We had to put him down on the 28th. I prepared myself for the day he would pass away and I knew I would be sad but I did not know how truly hard it would be. I love his so much. 13 years is a long time! When he passed he had my, Trae, and my moms hands all petting him. He was burried under his favorite tree. We love you cozzmo. We will miss you.

Cozzmo loved his walks. He would freak out and start barking
if I picked up the leashor had the stroller. I would have to run
to and from my car and try to sneak because if he say me he
would go into his big barking fit because he wanted to go on a
walk. He took walks almost up to the end. About June this year
he was not able to go any more.

Cozzmo was so easy going he did not need a leash
I am not talking about when he was a puppy. He was
crazy! Especially if he saw a cat! Parker loved to hold the
leash on our walks and Cozzmo was so patient.
I wish I had a more recent one of parking walking
Cozzmo.

Sweet Cozzmo. He would let Parker crawl all over him
and he let Parker feed him dry dog food one piece
at a time. He was always patient and if he did not like parking
riding him like a horse he would look at me like help or just move.
Never being mean. We will miss you.

Cozzmo had two best friends. Bandit who passed
many years ago and Fred. Fred moved to Texas
This last Summer so I am not sure if it was because
Fred was gone or poor eye sight but in his last few
months he became friends with a stray cat.
If you knew him at all it is quite funny. Well in the
end Cozzmo decided he would rather hand out with Bandit.

Fourth of July

This 4th of July I went to Utah with Ella. I had family reunions on my Dad and Moms side. Trae and Parker stayed and celebrated it with his family. It was a quick trip just a few days and I thought it would be cheaper and less exhausting going with just Ella and myself. Now looking back I wish I would of just taken the whole family. Oh well we all had fun.

We are so proud of our Graduates! Congratulations- MOMO, Bethany, Isaac, and Cathy!

Julie graduated in September with her Bachelor degree in Psychology. She was not able to attend the graduation since it was in Iowa so we threw her a surprise graduation party. Trae gave the graduation speech and the kids participated. It was fun and we are so proud of her!

I woke up on Mother's Day to an excited Parker. Parker and Dad were working on my present and he was excited to share it. Parker would hide and I had to find him. Each time I found him he handed me a letter that said sweet things on it. At the end I had to figure out what word the letters formed. I am not good at this sort of game and Trae forgot the G which did not help so with a little help I figured out it said MASSAGE. Yeah I need one! Thank you my sweet boys. It was a good Mother's Day.

We managed to get a family picture but we could not keep our children dressed up. This was the best one we got.

It has been so fun now that Parker kind of knows what is going on with all the Holidays. He was excited about Easter and he would run and see an egg and say "there's one!" Then he would grab it and bring it to me who was holding his basket. We tried to get him to hold it but he liked his idea better. When he found all the eggs and realized there was candy in them well then that was GREAT! He stuffed his face and then dumped the entire basket on the floor. Ahhhh gotta love him!

Ella just watched the whole thing sitting quietly. She is so sweet and I know she can't wait to join in the fun with her brother one day. We love having her as a part of our family. She is smiling now. Every morning when I say "Good Morning" I get the biggest wide open mouth smile. She is a doll.

Our little man

I can't believe Parker is already two. Time sure has flown by. There is so much I want to share about him. He is such a sweetheart and I can't believe how blessed we are to have him. He keeps us laughing he has such a sense of humor. He loves to pretend to drive tractors and trucks. He makes the sound effects so well. He can entertain himself and play alone but also loves to play with his cousins. He loves to dig in the dirt and just get messy. He is talking more and more and gets frustrated if we don't know what he is trying to say. So I will ask him to show me what he wants and he does and when I get it right he says Da for Ya! The other day he was playing with his toys and he started saying "No No" to one of his toys and he put it in his room and shut the door. I asked what happened so he showed me that his toy was in time out. I said, "Uh oh was he not nice" and he said, "Da" then he went and got his toy and hugged it and started rocking it and singing twinkle twinkle to it! It was adorable. He has already figured it out that if your not nice you go to time out but when you get out youstill get hugs and kisses. He just makes life great! We love you Parker.

She arrived Feb 25, 2009 at 6:23 pm. She weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and was 21 inches. She was induced a week early so I give up on having a small baby ever! I thought this time I might have at least a 7 pound baby but no such luck! However, the delivery was wonderful-pain free and she came out in a quick four pushes. She looked small to me despite her true weight. She is a sweet heart and we are so blessed to have her as part of our family.

I am not even going to try to justify why it has been so long. However, I have not had internet since we moved into our new house so that has made it near impossible. I have it now and I want to update before the baby comes so here it goes....

This Christmas was the best. Parker was older and enjoyed it which made it so fun for us. I kept telling him about Santa and he was very interested in him. When we looked at Christmas lights and the decorations he would say "Ho Ho Ho". He even dressed up like Santa knocking on his cousin's and Grandma's door to say, "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!"

We went to the Church Christmas Party despite Trae and I both having the Flu. I felt horrible but put my best face on for Parker so he could go see Santa.

I am so glad we did. Once they announced Santa was coming he just started jumping up and down and screaming. Everyone around was laughing at him. He was so funny.

He sat on his lap and told him he wanted a choo choo and a tractor. His two favorite things in the world.

Parker also got to see Santa a second time at his Cousin Grace's Birthday Party. She had a Polar Express party and Santa came bringing a tractor pulling a train! It was so much fun. They got to drive around the block a few times singing Christmas songs. After the party Parker kept saying, "Ho Ho Ho Baa Baa Ba Baa Baa Ba Hey!" Interpretation the Baa Ba is in the tune of jingle bells and he would put the hey on the end. He had so much fun and it wasn't even Christmas yet!

Christmas morning Parker woke up and I asked him if he wanted to go see what Santa brought him. He was not sure what was going on but once he came out of his room and saw his stuff he was one happy kid. He walked right to the train and then saw the tractor and bolted for that. He loved his presents so much we could not interest him in opening his small gifts. The only way we got him to was to put them in his tractor bucket and he opened after he dumped them. It was a very good day!

Thanksgiving- Parker also enjoyed thanksgiving this year. He ate good and chomped his pumpkin pie. He must be mine! We had a large group and we all ate at The Morris'. We had a good time and I ate until I thought I would burst. We also had to save room for Thanksgiving at my Mom's house! It was all good and it is always fun for Parker to hang out with his cousins.

Halloween- Parker had a great Halloween. However, if you noticed the scratches on his face he was attached by Buddy (MoMo and Papas little dog). I cannot say Parker was entirely innocent he plays rough with the animals but it was very traumatic and he cried and took a nap right afterward. I was afraid he would miss out on Halloween. However, he was ready for the festivities once he woke up.

Parker is 15 months now. He has learned and uses the signs more/eat, please, outside, and down. He says eese for please as he makes the sign. He is so fun. He tries to say what you ask him to. It does not always come out right but he usually gets the pitches or same syllable count. He loves to dance and he has learned to hum his favorite songs. He actually hums it to the beat! He has such a determined personality. He likes to do things on his own. He climbs everything and hangs on everything.

Parker loves playing with balls. Daddy taught
him to golf.

And play football!

We have been working so hard to get hair on Parker
and it is finally growing in. More so in the back. You can
see the adorable curls.

Uncle Andy's Visit

Andy has been living in Japan for the last 2 years. He served his
mission there so once he graduated from University of Hawaii he decided
to go back there. We sure have missed him. And he sure has missed a lot being gone!
He had 4 nephews and one niece he had not seen yet.

Finally Updating!

Well it has been awhile since I posted. We have been busy and Parker is just growing up so fast! He is now almost 15 months and so smart. He loves to dance, play ball, and chase his cousins. He amazes me everyday. I talk to him and he knows what I am saying. When he doesn't understand what I mean he says Huh a million times until I show him what I mean. It is so fun to watch him learn new things. I know all parents think there kid is the smartest kid in the world but I swear he is! We love you Parker!

We took a trip this Spring Break back East. We visited Ashley and Jacob in Maryland and got to see New York, Philly and Washington while we were there.

He loved all his gifts!

We are currently dealing with Parker pulling hair,
pinching and biting. He has to do a time out and say
sorry. He gets so angry at me but he picks on his little
cousins so we are trying to nip it now. Wish us luck!

Okay so this cake is gigantic. I have never
ordered a birthday cake before and when looking
to see what they had I told them I did not want the
round CARS cake I wanted the sheet cake
and sheet cake I got. The cake was Huge but needless
to say it did get eaten by all the family.
We went with the car cake because Parker just loves cars.
He pushes them around all day and he loves to pretend to drive
in our truck. He makes a vroom sound! He is just too cute.

Parker wanted a fork when eating his cake.
How proper huh?

Once I put him in the high chair he went to town
on the cake. "This is good stuff!"

Turning One!

Parker will be turning one on March 9th. It came so fast! He has been such a blessing and Joy. We love you son. He started walking in January and now there is no stopping him. He is everywhere. He has four top teeth and three bottom and is still saying his favorite words (Momma, ball, baby, and woof woof). He keeps us smiling and laughing. I can't believe how much he has grown.

Christmas Letter 2007

Dear Friends and Family,

We have had a great year. Trae received a job offer in Houston Texas last July so we lived and worked in Houston for a year. We were both thrilled to find out I was pregnant with Parker and yes we have a son born in Texas! We enjoyed our time in Houston but felt it was time to move home by Grandma’s and Grandpa’s.

Trae was offered a job to work for the College in our hometown of Thatcher. We were so excited to be able to move back and be even closer to family then we thought we would get. Trae loves his job as the Bursar of the college and enjoys spending more time with his family. Stacy was offered part time work as a Developmental Specialist. She loves working with the children and the job enables her to work from home as well. Most importantly Parker is happy. He is surrounded by cousins and grandparents. He loves it here! He is growing up so fast he crawls everywhere, cruises furniture, and laughs at his Parents like they are the funniest people around. We feel so very blessed to have him. He has truly made our lives so full.

We hope this year has found all of you happy and healthy. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We are back in Arizona! And Parker is getting
so big.

Trip to Baton Rouge, LA

THREE MONTHS - THREE STATES!

This week I went on my first road trip. My parents and I went to Louisiana. It sure was green there! Daddy said it reminded him of Forest Gump's house.

First we drove to Lake Charles and stayed in a hotel. I was pretty good but I missed my swing. Mommy said I looked like a real tourist in my hat.

This is me and mom standing at the beach of Lake Charles. There were some big kids swimming in the water... but I don't know how to swim yet.

From there we drove to Baton Rouge. We drove past a big swamp and there was a really really long bridge we had to drive over.

When we finally got there it was raining but we saw the Mississippi River. This is us driving over the bridge. The tall building in the background is the State Capitol Bldg of Louisianna.

Here is me and dad standing by the Mississippi River. Dad said it took him 29 yrs to see the Mississippi and it only took me 3 months.

I also got to see an old fashion fire truck. I am wearing my fireman hat.

Arizona Trip

Parker enjoyed his plane ride to Arizona. He was perfect the whole time!

Parker got to hang out with all his cousins and had lots of fun at Momo's.

Parker met G.G. and his cousin Brooke who is the same age.
She has so much hair it is too adorable.

He also met aunt Katie and Mckinzey who is his same age as well.

"She is a chunky Monkey!" says Parker.

Stacy's Friends Brenda and Cathy came to meet Parker too.
